Author Induction Page

Below are the guidelines that the site administrator would appreciate if you could follow:

• Please be yourself while do your writing, as every author will have his/her own style of writing. To rank well in Search Engines, it is advisable not to submit duplicate content in this site.
• You may publish web video, image, picture, etc. For article,  image/picture/photo is required to be embodied in the body of the article to be published, this is compulsory effective from November 2011.

No commercial advertising banner is allowed in the body of your article. However, you may have up to two anchor text links in your author resource box,  or two anchor text links in your article, or one in your article and one in your author resource box.  Nevertheless, the site administrator will exert his discretion where appropriate as far as anchor text links are concerned, hence, we advise you not to submit guest post with the sole intention to get  links without providing much value to the readers. You have to create your author resource box in the ‘Biographical Info’ section’ in your profile page once you sign up. Please note that your author bio is required in order for your articles to be published, this shall take effect from 2 May 2012 onwards.

If you work for an author as an employee or contractor and are submitting the article, please submit the article as if it was from the original author including his or her email address and name.

It may take up to 7 working days for your articles to be published, as such, please be patience. If you don’t see your articles being published, please read through the author induction page again, you might miss something, alternatively please drop us an email to find out why!


Once an account has been created for you as an author, you will be provided with a login ID and password for you to upload your articles.


You are allowed to have different author bio in the author resource box, however and in this case, a different username and email address is required from you in order for us to create a different login ID and password for you to login.

• Should you want your picture to appear in the author resource box, you will need to have an account with Gravatar. Please note that JourneyOnEarth.com prefers to accept ‘human face’ to appear in the author resource box. However, you can choose not to have your photo in your author resource box, the choice is yours. An example of an author resource box will be as follows:

• For details on author revenue sharing, please visit your author dashboard once you have registered.
• The width size of the image or picture in your article should not be more than 450px in order for it to display properly in the site’s content area. If there is a need for larger width size, please contact the site administrator.
• Should you not be able to find a suitable category for your article, you may write your suggested category at the bottom of your post for it to be created by the webmaster.
• You can edit your article as often as you want so long if it has not yet been approved and published by the administrator. However, once an article has been approved and published by the administrator, the only way to do the editing is to inform the administrator to reopen your article for you to do the editing.
